Here it is, folks...the day we knew would all come. It's time for the last-ever Alex's School Type Comics comic...



ASTC has ran for 892 days, ending today. Jeez...it's been a good, long run, huh? But now we must bid it adieu.

I never really imagined how big the series, as a whole, would become when I first started it. Believe it or not, it was the first comic series I made that made it to ten issues - Wario's Adventures only made it to six and Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy Comix only made it to nine. Alex's School Type Comics has made it to One-hundred-and-twenty. That's quite an achievement...and I've really enjoyed making all the different comics. Oh, there were times when it felt like hell to make these things, but in the end it's been really wonderful writing all of these comics.

ASTC started with no direction or plot whatsoever - there wasn't any "true" storyline until around Issue 15 or so. But it somehow managed to survive up until today. As the series draws to a close, I feel pretty content with all I've managed to fit in within the 2½ years that I've been making these, and I've had real fun incorporating my schoolfriends into these zany adventures. But now, it's time for the end of ASTC. I'm going to miss it, but as I head to pastures new, I'll remember all of the memories created and skills picked up as I made this mammoth, 120-issue-and-more saga. It's been quite an experience, and one that I'll never forget.

So long, farewell, til' we meet again...
